During the Easter week with arrival and departure, Biancalana Hermitage welcomes those who want to experience the life of the ashram. The living room will be dedicated to Karma Yoga - yoga of conscious and unselfish - and a deeper understanding of what is considered the ultimate goal of yoga: the arrest of the fluctuations of the mind, chitta vritti nirodhah ( The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali , Book I Sutra 2). This theme and topics related to it will be the objective of daily meetings.
h.7.00 A typical day will begin with a yoga class dedicated to asana (postures), pranayama (technical control of prana through breath) and relaxation techniques, will continue alternating Karma yoga with Jnana yoga - yoga of knowledge - and will end with Mantra yoga and meditation practices.
